Junior Marketing Internship

Location: Ottawa

Duration: 6 months (with opportunity for employment at the end of internship)

Founded in 2015, the Ottawa-based startup Wecio (www.wec.io) developed and brought to market the first and only multi-vendor software for cloud management of WiFi Access Points and social hotspots. Since then our customer base and team have been growing at a rapid rate.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a young and energetic start-up company with global customers.

 

Wecio is looking for a young graduate to execute our lead generation strategy and our content marketing plan.

The candidate will be in charge of the following tasks:

  • Marketing assets creation and distribution: documents, presentations, images, articles, blog posts, press releases, website pages, on-product communications, Mktg collaterals, etc.
  • Analyze competitor’s marketing literature and advertisements
  • Support in the coordination / management of relations with external suppliers

 

Skills and other requirements:

  • Undergraduate/new graduate in sales, languages, business, marketing, or other relevant fields
  • Passion for B2B marketing / web marketing / digital marketing
  • Strong communications and writing skills in English (basic level of English is not enough)
  • International study / work experience is a plus
  • Flexibility to occasionally work at odd hours due to global customers
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office tools. Experience with WordPress is strongly appreciated.
  • A basic knowledge of marketing, inbound marketing, SEO is preferred
  • Being self-motivated and curious, wish to pro-actively learn and grow
  • Strong motivation to achieve results and ability to quickly integrate into teams
Customer Success Manager

Location: Ottawa

Duration: 6 months (with opportunity for employment at the end of internship)

  • Manage the knowledge base and act as community manager;
  • Pro-actively track the health of accounts, both in the adoption and in the expansion phases;
  • Assess ideas about how to improve the product, in collaboration with R&D.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong communications and writing skills in English (basic level of English is not enough);
  • Deep technical knowledge of networks and IT products;
  • Certifications and Degrees in Computer Science, Networking and Engineering are a plus;
  • Being able to create relationships with customers and use leadership to guide them;
  • Being self-motivated and curious;
  • Problem solver approach with the sales team, the product team and the marketing team;
  • Passion for technology;
  • Wish to pro-actively learn and grow;
  • Ability to take increasing levels of responsibility.
Customer Success Manager
